Will Wipro lay off more people?

Hyderabad: Wipro, India’s leading technology and IT consulting services firm, is likely to remove hundreds of mid-level onsite employees as it tries to improve its margins.

According to reports, it has the lowest margins amongst the other largest domestic IT services companies. Its margin came down to 16 per cent in October-December quarter, while other IT majors TCS, Infosys and HCL Technologies reported margins of 25 per cent, 20.5 per cent and 19.8 per cent respectively.
